A smile can be a sign,
Or a shield.
It can bind, or find
two hearts,
Or tear them apart
Who can know you, if u hide behind that shield.
She hides a reservoir of tears behind a fortress of flowers,
Endless pain….
Within a grain….
Anyone will go insane.
But she is not alone,
She need only pick up the phone.
The other end , a listening ear
To tend to her fears
And rob her tears.
She has no answers, but who really has?
Every moment she spend looking down ,
Is a moment she spent waiting for a reason to look up.
In a room full of friends,
She feels even more alone.
But her reason is near,
The avenger of her tears……
